Two runoff elections are set for Lawrence County on June 21st according to Tina Stowers, Lawrence County Clerk.
The Lawrence County Judge’s race will be a runoff between Gary Barnhill and Ron Ingram.
The Lawrence County Clerk’s race will be between Brandi Parker and either Michelle Sheets or Paige Howard Cunningham.
According to Tina Stowers there are 4 votes still out in that race and since the 2nd and 3rd place candidates are separated by only one vote they will have to wait until the final votes come in to decide which candidate goes on to the runoff. Stowers stated one of the voters is “out of the country” at this time and has until June 3rd.
The runoff election is June 21st, polls will be at the normal polling locations from 7:30am till 7:30pm.
Early voting begins June 14th from 8am till 4:30pm Tuesday through Monday (No Saturday Or Sunday Voting) at the Lawrence County Courthouse in Walnut Ridge.
