Search crews from Nine Mile Ridge Fire Department along with assistance from Hardy Fire, Hardy PD, Ash Flat Fire, Sharp County and Fulton County Deputies are in the area of Slick Rock Road where the plane reportedly went down.
Sharp County was notified around 5:34pm by numerous reports of the crash by residents.
Firefighters are searching the wooded area for wreckage. Medical units are on standby near the scene.
