The incident started on Monday as authorities tracked a stolen vehicle through Lawrence County. A pursuit began outside Imboden and continued through Ravenden where the vehicles tires were disabled. The pursuit came to a stop judge at into Sharp County on Hwy 63.
Juan Lopez, age 28 of Riverdale, Georgia is charged with reckless driving, felony fleeing, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft of property, and possession of a controlled substance.
Lopez was arrested and is currently being held in the Lawrence County Detention Center.
