At 11:36 am, Lawrence County Dispatch was advised of a stolen 2021 Nissan Rogue traveling Hwy 63 through Black Rock toward Imboden. The vehicle was being electronically tracked as it traveled through our county.
Arkansas State Police set up to intercept the vehicle in Imboden as Lawrence County units in the area converged on the vehicle.
At 11:43 am ASP made contact with the vehicle but it refused to stop and a pursuit began towards Ravenden. Spike strips were set up at the Spring River Bridge by Ravenden Police, the vehicle hit the strips blowing 2 tires as it continued north into Sharp County.
The vehicle entered Sharp County and was finally stopped by officers on the 3 lane just inside Sharp County.
The subject was taken into custody, no names have been released yet in the incident.
No injuries were reported.
