“Nonnie†(Perrin) Smith
Mignon Annette Smith passed away in Austin, Texas on April 1, 2021.
She was born in Imboden, Arkansas on April 9, 1934 and attended school in Ravenden and Sloan Hendrix. During her senior year, she contracted polio and was told she would never walk again. She overcame that diagnosis and regained her ability to walk.
One person who helped her during that trying time was Bob Smith, her high school sweetheart. They married and spent 58 wonderful years together. A dedicated Christian and a very positive cheerful person, Nonnie inspired others throughout her life.
Nonnie was preceded in death by her husband Bob, parents Henley and Chloe Perrin, siblings Joel & Judith and in-laws Oscar and Mildred Smith.
She is survived by her three children, Julie Wilsey, Bruce Smith, and Bart Smith, grandchildren, Sarah Costa, Colby Smith, Ella Wilsey, and Evan Wilsey, by one sister, Caroline Keith, one brother, Tony Perrin, and a host of nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
