Shortly before 3am the first 911 calls began coming into the Lawrence County Dispatch reporting a fire in the Rose Garden Estates Apartments located on Horseshoe in Hoxie.
Firefighters from numerous departments were requested including Hoxie, Walnut Ridge, Clover Bend, Alicia, Sedgwick, Portia and Black Rock.
Firefighters battled the blaze until morning, no injuries or deaths were reported although several pets reportedly perished in the fire.
