Randolph County Nursing Home released information regarding a positive COVID-19 case at their facility yesterday.

Randolph County Nursing Home statement: “We have sent notification to all family and staff that we have one positive case in the building. We have been screening all employees before work and all residents per adh guidelines every shift and testing all those readmitted from outside the facility. This resident was and is non symptomatic and precautions were in place. We have initiated our Covid care team and will be testing all residents and all employees. We will keep you posted of any further developments.”


State Representative Fran Cavenaugh updated on the Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab positive cases.

Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab has 23 Positive residents in the facility.
4 presumptive positives in facility (means tested positive but waiting on confirmation from CDC and ADH)

Making 28 Total Residents.
7 Staff have tested positive and are not working and they are quarantined. ADH has begun retesting those residents that have tested positive but are showing no symptoms. If the test comes back negative then those residents can be moved back to general population. This testing will take some time to complete.
