The third annual NEA Game Fest will be held Oct. 18-20 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Jonesboro. All proceeds raised by the event will benefit The Children’s Shelter in Walnut Ridge.
This tabletop gaming convention offers board games, role playing games, miniature games and collectable card games amongst other activities. The event will feature a large library of board games that can be played at any time as well as many scheduled events, including tournaments, to participate in.
NEA Game Fest will have over $3,000 in giveaways and prizes. There will also be a silent auction with many gaming items available at the event.
The convention will open at 9 a.m., Friday, Oct. 18, and run until 5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20. While some features, such as the games library, vendors and concessions will close at night, there will be some space available for open gaming at all hours of the convention.
Badges are available for purchase at neagamefest.com for $20 each. Child badges, ages 10-15, are $5, and children, 9 and under, are free. Adult badges purchased at the door will be $25 if available.
