Summertime brings us warm evenings, beautiful sunsets, blooming flowers, and here in Imboden, Arkansas, the Lawrence County Fair, PRCA Rodeo, and Carnival.

The fair offers Lawrence County locals the chance to win ribbons or trophies , listen to the free musical performances that take place, enjoy the thrills of the carnival rides, the PRCA rodeo, the delicious fair food, and fellowship with the community.

The educational booths had many entries  ranging from prize-winning watermelons and artwork to cookie jars from the Cookie Jar Decorating Contest which funds the Lawrence County Fair scholarship. The cookie jars are auctioned during the fair, and all proceeds will go to the fair scholarship fund. This year there were 20 Cookie Jars and raised $3,505.00. To be considered for a Scholarship you must have participated in the Lawrence County Fair 3 of the past 5 year.

*Just a reminder to take this year to work on entering exhibits in the fair next year. The fair is funded on how many entries are submitted.

We enjoy sharing the fair highlights as seen in photo’s each year.
