godwin Around 12:30 pm on Thursday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call from Angie’s in Imboden, the called stated there was a male subject identified as Joshua Godwin of Ravenden Springs in the business making threats concerning some type of custody matter. Deputies along with Sheriff Yates converged on the scene along with assistance from the Arkansas State Police. Godwin left the place of business after threatening a customer with a baseball bat that was allegedly in his vehicle, he was last scene driving a 1999 GMC truck white in color with a Confederate Flag in the back of the truck.
Before leaving the area the suspect truck was photographed doing “donuts” in the Church of Christ parking lot by a citizen. Units looked around the Imboden area before moving the search towards the Ravenden Springs area where the suspect lives. A deputy still in the Imboden Area spotted the suspect vehicle heading out Hwy 62 towards Randolph County. The deputy was unable to make a stop on the vehicle, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office was notified to be on the lookout for the vehicle and the suspect.
