Joseph and Brandy Larkin of SE 4th Street were arrested Monday night by the Hoxie Police Department and both charged with Theft of Property according to reports.
Sources stated the arrest came after officers received information that property belonging to the Hoxie Fire Department was missing and said to be in the possession of the two suspects. Officers interviewed the two and recovered what is being called thousands of dollars in equipment belonging to the Hoxie Department.
Joseph and Brandy Larkin were arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await bond hearings and be assigned a court date. The investigation is still ongoing and being conducted by the Hoxie Police Department.
