Criminal Investigators from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office released today that Kelly Dawson of Walnut was arrested on charges of Sexual Indecency With A Child. The arrest stems from a joint investigation by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, Walnut Ridge Police Department and the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division.
Dawson was arrested on Wednesday by the Sheriff’s Office and is currently being held at the Lawrence County Jail. Dawson is scheduled for a bond hearing on Friday.
