Ghost of Davidsonville Fall Festival
October 11, 2014 from 4 p.m.-9 p.m.

The time is fast approaching for Davidsonville Historic State Park’s annual fall festival. For over decade, the Ghosts of Davidsonville Fall Festival event has haunted and entertained the people of Northeast Arkansas on the second Saturday of October. Join your park family, our campers, and volunteers for good music, food, games, inflatable’s, and end the evening with the legendary haunted hayride! Entry fee is $3.00 per adult, $2.00 per child (ages 6-12), and $2.00 per adult 62 and over. Children age 5 and under are free of charge.
From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Five Rivers Animal Aid will be sponsoring carnival games such as a bean bag toss and toilet paper toss. There will be a small fee to play each game. Inflatables will also be part of the fun, including a pedestal joust, speed pitch, and kids’ play land.
On the stage, Randolph County 4-H is sponsoring a costume contest from 4-5 p.m. for kids ages 5-10 and 11-16. The entry fee is $3 per child. Following the contest, there will be live music from 5:30-9 p.m. from the bands Zac and Emily, Buzzard Run, and Movin On. The hay rides will begin at 7 p.m.
Be sure to come to the festival hungry because there will be plenty of good food to choose from. BBQ, hot dogs, and hamburgers will be available and the park will be selling ice cream, snacks, and drinks. Candy and door prizes will be given out during the festival as well.
Mark your calendar for October 11 and bring out the whole family for an evening of fun and entertainment, and don’t forget, when the sun goes down the ghosts come out and the haunted hayride begins.
