At 11:15pm Monday night, the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting an overturned semi truck on Hwy 63 in Imboden. Imboden Fire Department, AET Ambulamce, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies and Lawrence County Office of Emergency Services were all notified and responded to the scene.

According to reports, the driver was not seriously injured. The semi was traveling south on Hwy 63 through Imboden when it ran off the side of the roadway causing it to overturn. The truck was not hauling any hazardous freight, Dail’s Wrecker Service of Ravenden was requested to the scene. Imboden Firefighters used there brush truck to clean the highway of dirt and gravel left by the crash. Firefighters also kept traffic flowing until wreckers could arrive.

The accident is being investigated by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
