On Wednesday Afternoon the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting an overturned vehicle on Hwy 34 just outside Walnut Ridge.
Walnut Ridge Fire, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies and medical units responded to the scene, according to reports the female driver was arrested for DWI while a male passenger was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and Arkansas State Police were both on scene conducting the investigation. The names of the individuals have not been released.
