Melanie and James Mandera appeared in front of Circuit Court today facing charges stemming from a September 2012 arrest on charges of Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone), Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia and Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms.

James Mandera was also charged with resisting arrest and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The original arrest stemmed from an undercover operation in which drugs were purchased at the Mandera residence in Imboden, the transaction was also captured on video according to Sheriff Dotson.

A negotiated guilty plea was entered and accepted by the court today, James Mandera was convicted and sentenced to 60 months SIS (Suspended Imposition Of Sentence) and 60 months probation. Melanie Mandera was convicted and sentenced to 48 months SIS (Suspended Imposition Of Sentence) and 48 months probation.
