On July 16, 2013 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jason Krumsick,age 42 of Gepp for possession of a controlled substance (Rx drugs), possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence.
The arrest was made at the Rest Area near Black Rock, the Black Rock Police Department assisted with the arrest.
Officer stopped at the Rest Area to check on a vehicle where a man was standing beside the vehicle with his pants down. Officers spoke with Krumsick and a female that was in the vehicle. Both subjects appeared nervous as the officers spoke with them.
The female told the officers that Krumsick threw her a bag of pills and told her to hide them. Officers recovered a bag full of Rx drugs including Klonopin, Hydrocodone, Xanax and several drugs.
Krumsick was placed under arrest and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing. A check of Krumsick at the jail showed him to be on parole out of Baxter County for prior drug charges.
