IMG_0097 On Thursday April 4th, Imboden Volunteer Fire Department Chief Chris Jones was the recipient of the 2013 Joe Coker Award presented by the Three Rivers Firefighters Association. Jones, the Imboden Chief also has worked for many years at the Walnut Ridge Fire Department where he serves as a Captain on the department, Jones has also held several positions on boards all across the state concerning firefighting.
 
The late Joe Coker was the former Walnut Ridge Fire Chief and President of the Arkansas State Fire Chief’s Association. Coker is credited with helping pass legislation that created the Black River Fire Training Center.
