At 7:55 am on Tuesday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911  call reporting a one vehicle accident north of Imboden at what is called “Smith’s Curve”.
Dispatch paged the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department, AET Ambulance  of Imboden, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies, Arkansas State Police and the  Ravenden Police Department to the scene.
Once on scene, firefighters discovered an overturned pickup truck  with the driver trapped in the vehicle. Firefighters using extrication tools  were able to remove the victim from the truck. A medical helicopter from  Air-Evac was flown in and landed near the scene in the field. The victim, who’s  name has not been released was transported to an area hospital for treatment of  injuries.
The accident is being investigated by the Arkansas State  Police.
