On July 11, 2010 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and the 3rd Judicial Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on a residence on County Road 214 near Annieville. During the search of the residence officers found drug paraphernalia and marked drug buy money that had been used to purchase meth. Cress Lee Byrd (06/18/61) of the residence was placed under arrest and charged with delivery of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Byrd was transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing. Bond was set at $5,000 and a Circuit Court date of August 9th was issued at a hearing on Thursday.
