Law Enforcement from all over Northeast Arkansas gathered in Walnut Ridge to conduct K-9 training exercises.
 
According to the Lawrence County K-9 Officer Blake Liscomb, the training improves networking skills and produces better K-9 handlers. According to Liscomb, officers from Lawrence County, Walnut Ridge, Ravenden, Black Rock,  Manila, Clay County, Randolph County, Poinsett County, Bald Knob, Jonesboro, Tuckerman and Newport all joined in the training. Classroom training was held at the Meeting Room in the Lawrence County Library in Walnut Ridge, training was then moved to the City of Walnut Ridge Park.
 
According to Officer Liscomb, narcotic hides were conducted allowing the officers and their dogs to exercise their skills.
