The First Baptist Church of Imboden will be hosting the “Gospel Messengers†in concert Sunday May 20, at 11:00 AM. The group consisting of father and sons, Bart,Dennis, & Daniel Southerd sing traditional southern gospel music. Since formally embarking as a Southern Gospel trio in 2007, the boys have opened for several nationally known Southern Gospel groups and singers including Dixie Echoes, Jessie Dixon, The Kingsmen, Legacy Five, Palmetto State Quartet, Allison Durham Speer, Booth Brothers, Ivan Parker, and Southern Sound Quartet. There will be a love offering taken for the group. The pastor and congregation invite everyone to attend. After the singing, the church will be having a potluck dinner.
