Herb Garden Workshop

Registration Fee: $30

Saturday, May 12, 2012

9:00am – 2:00pm

$10 non-refundable deposit due May 5

Herbs have been used in everyday life throughout the centuries for cooking, medicines, and more, and were carried all over the world by boat, horseback, wagon, and foot. Despite their rich history, most of us are completely unaware of them or take them for granted. Join us to discover herbs and how you can use them to improve your everyday life! Green thumbs are not necessary.

Participants will receive a basic information booklet about herbs, a live potted herb plant, samples of herb butter, vinegar, or oil, a sachet bag for closet or dresser drawer, and a green salad to eat with lunch.

Most of this workshop will be held indoors at the Courthouse, but some walking/driving to the park’s herb garden will be required.  Class size is limited, please call to reserve your space.  870-878-6765 or email powhatan@arkansas.com.
