The Hoxie Fire Department held it’s 10th Annual Bass Tournament Fund Raiser last Saturday at Lake Charles.
Chief Mark VanBrook with the Hoxie Fire Department reported a great turnout for the event with 29 boats entered into the tournament.
1st Place went to the team of Derrick and Huston Hancock with a combined weight of 13.81 lbs, 2nd Place went to the team of Mike Sims and Dewayne Messer with a combined weight of 11.66 lbs, 3rd Place went to the team of Kody and Ross Whitney with a combined weight of 9.93 lbs. The Big Bass Contest was won by Adam and Robert Pratt with a bass weighing 5.12 lbs.
