Randolph and Lawrence County residents charged in a federal drug arrest last February have had a court date set for October 29th in U.S. District Court.

Scheduled to stand trial are Bob Castleman, Thomas Watson, Travis Perkins, Randall Byrd, James Barnett, Travis Watkins, Rebecca Spray, Trisha Mulligan, Elaine Swann and Robert Jerrod Castleman.

According to authorities, two vehicles belonging to Castleman and his son have been seized in the last two weeks. The U.S. Attorney’s Office has also filed a motion for a protective order against the 262 acres located just outside Imboden on Fairview Road. Should the owner, Bob Castleman, be convicted of the charges he is facing, he may have to forfeit the property. Castleman had recently started harvesting the timber from the land, forcing the U.S. Attorney’s Office to file the current motion for protection of the property.
