Sheriff Jody Dotson with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office announced that Bond was set for Billy Don Thomas, 41 of Trumann Arkansas for his involvement in 8 residential break-ins in Lawrence County.
 
Thomas’ crime spree spanned several counties including Lawrence, Craighead and Poinsett. Thomas was charged for Burglary and Theft of Property, his court date has been set for April 25th in a Lawrence County Courtroom. Bond was set at $150,000.00 for the suspect.

Details Emerge In Lawrence County Burglary Suspect Involved In Multiple Crimes Spanning Several Counties
The suspect arrested in connection with several residential burglaries in Lawrence County, Craighead County and Poinsett County has been identified as 41 year old Billy Don Thomas of Trumann Arkansas.
Counties in the area have been on watch for a suspect in a gray van, a van matching the description was seen at a residence in Jonesboro that was burglarized and a witness saw the license plate of the vehicle and identified the suspect.
The suspect was arrested by the Arkansas State Police Monday in Parkin Arkansas. Thomas will be formally charged for crimes in Craighead and Poinsett on Wednesday with charges in Lawrence County coming at a later date.
The burglaries that occurred in Lawrence County ranged from the Sedgwick area all the way to the Portia area, homes had doors kicked in and items stolen included jewelry and fire arms. The crimes mostly took place during the day while residents were gone to work.
