Severe weather impacting western Arkansas could slowly move into our area on Wednesday, continuing into Wednesday night.
 
According to forecast from WeatherUnderground for Wednesday :
Overcast with a chance of a thunderstorm and a chance of rain, then thunderstorms and rain showers in the afternoon. High of 72F. Winds from the West at 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. Breezy. Chance of rain 70% with rainfall amounts near 0.3 in. possible.
 
Wednesday Night: Overcast with thunderstorms and rain showers, Low of 55 with winds from the WSW at 5 to 20 mph, Chance of rain is 100% with rainfall amounts near 1.2 inches.
 
There is a possibility of flooding in low lying areas including the possibility of flooded roads.
 
Flooding of low-lying roads and bridges may occur, Sheriff Dotson of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office advises not to attempt to cross flooded bridges or travel down flooded roads in the area.
