Deputy Terrence Ward while on patrol discovered a two vehicle accident at Hwy 63 and Hwy 115 in Imboden at 6:45 pm on Tuesday evening. Deputy Ward notified the Lawrence County Dispatch who then paged the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department and AET Ambulance of Imboden. Fire and EMS arrived on scene within minutes. Firemen removed one passenger from the truck.
The female passenger was transported to Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas by AET Ambulance. No other injuries were reported, the accident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police. Dail’s Wrecker Service of Ravenden was called to remove the vehicles.
Imboden Fire Department members remained on scene to assist with traffic, the north bound lane of Hwy 63 was blocked but firemen kept traffic moving during the incident.
