Tips From A Concerned Citizen Leads Deputies To A Meth Lab In Lawrence County

Deputy Blake Liscomb of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from a concerned citizen of a possible meth lab on Friday evening. Officer Liscomb contacted the probation officer of the suspect in question, Probation Officer Jeremy Riggs accompanied Officer Liscomb and Sargent Rocky Chappell to the residence on Lawrence County Road 502.

Once inside the residence, deputies discovered a meth lab in a trash can along with other paraphernalia. Four adults were in the residence, three males and a female. Officers stated the female had 18 warrants out of Jonesboro. All four were taken into custody and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to face formal charges.
