At 5:14pm October 19th, 2011 Bono Officer Chris Patrick contacted the Lawrence County Dispatch requesting assistance from officers. Patrick was in pursuit of a white Jeep Liberty occupied by Kevin Black of Bono who had outstanding warrants. The vehicle was heading towards Lawrence County. Once the vehicle entered Lawrence County it turned onto a county road in the Sedgwick area attempting to avoid police.

Lawrence County Deputies and the Arkansas State Police converged on the area searching multiple county roads. The Lawrence County Dispatch alerted the Hoxie Police, Sedgwick and Walnut Ridge to be on the lookout for the vehicle which was believed to be headed to Mountain Home. Officers were having to search several county roads after the vehicle evaded the Bono unit.

Officers from multiple agencies posted around the county were on the watch for the vehicle. At 6pm the vehicle was spotted by Hoxie Police Officers, stopped and the subject was taken into custody and turned over to the Bono Police Department.
