A little over two years ago we had an idea. To create a positive news website for the town of Imboden and surrounding communities where people could find local news, events, entertainment, share information, and promote their business or event. We never imagined that Imbodenlive.com would be such a success or that we would go on to create websites and online advertisements for the City of Imboden, the City of Walnut Ridge, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, and many more.
I remember when I brought the idea for Imboden Live up to my husband and mother in law. We were sitting around talking and I said “Do you think anyone around here would read a local news website?” So I think I can now say that our readers have answered that question with a loud YES! We are pleased to announce that September 2011 was a record month here on Imboden Live. We also had our best week and most visits in a single day in the month of September. Two years of work, hundreds of articles, thousands of comments, and photo’s make up Imboden Live. We are so thankful for our sponsors, our many readers, and our community!

If you would like to find out more about Imboden Live, how to submit an article, or find out how Imboden Live can promote your place of business just take a look at our “about us” pages.
Now for a little small talk…………
Take a drive through Imboden this month and you will notice festive Fall and Halloween decor in several places.

S&H Quick Stop in Imboden is pulling out all the stops this Halloween. Judy once again outdoes herself with her spooky trailer located in the front of the store. Don’t think it ends there because this year S&H is home to the haunted bathroom! Stop in a take a look at the scary decorations and effects throughout the store.

The Bobbie Jean Memorial Library window in decorated with a scene from The Great Pumpkin and also has a fall/Halloween selection of books and dvd’s for all ages.

The pretty Fall Display at Imboden Area Charter School was placed by Lisa Lewallen and Donnie Samons Grandparents of 2nd Grader Cole Williams.

Miles to Go Resale and Consignment has a great autumn window display. We noticed they also offer Halloween costumes for children in their shop.

Also don’t forget to check out the photo’s in the footer of Imboden Live. You will find many Halloween and Fall pics from past and present. We will be adding more in upcoming weeks!

Again we THANK YOU!
