40 year old Jason Stallings of Black Rock has confessed to a series of thefts in the Ash Flat area earlier this month. Stallings was identified after a vehicle matching the description of his vehicle was witnessed in the area of a generator theft on Arkansas 345 in Ash Flat on September 2nd. As Stallings was being sought in connection with that crime, Stallings was questioned and admitted to other crimes in the area including burglary and stealing property from three additional residences.

 

Stallings was arrested on these charges as well as outstanding warrants for theft of property and criminal trespass. The investigation included the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police.

 

Stallings remains in the Sharp County Jail on $15,000.00 Bond for charges of residential burglary and theft of property.
