At 11:20pm on Tuesday night, the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call of a wreck on Hwy 63 in Sedgwick. The Sedgewick Volunteer Fire Department, Lawrence County Sheriffâ€™s Office and AET Ambulance of Walnut Ridge were dispatched to the scene of a two vehicle accident involving a semi truck and a passenger vehicle. The Sedgwick Fire Department was on scene at 11:24pm, AET Ambulance was on scene at 11:27pm. AET Ambulance requested a helicopter to be in route to the scene.
Â Lawrence County Deputies arriving on scene requested the assistance of the Walnut Ridge Fire Department for possible extrication of one injured person. Walnut Ridge units were on scene at 11:35pm.
At 11:50pm Air-Evac landed on scene in Sedgwick to transport the injured subject to the hospital. No names have been released at this time, conditions of the injured are not known.
