The Lawrence Memorial Health Foundation is partnering with Lawrence County Church Women United to host a Diabetes Awareness & Screening Fair here in Walnut Ridge on July 19 from 9-1 at the First Baptist Church Ministry Activity Center.
Free screenings and break-out sessions will be provided as well as a variety of health-related vendor booths and door prizes.
There will also be a luncheon and speaker from 11-12, but that requires a $3 ticket, which may be purchased in advance here at LMH. Luncheon tickets are limited to the first 100, so be sure to call 886-1275 to reserve yours!
