Friday April 15th, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department arrested Matthew Scott Swartzlander on outstanding warrants.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff Jody Dotson, the Sheriff’s Office received several tips stating that Swartzlander was in the area of Lawrence County Road 138. A deputy spotted Swartzlander in a vehicle in the area and made the stop, arresting Swartzlander.
Matthew Scott Swartzlander was wanted on outstanding warrants for Breaking and Entering, Theft of Property and Criminal Trespass with a cash only bond of $10,000.00.
Sheriff Dotson credits tips called in by residents after seeing Swartzlander on the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office’s Most Wanted page. Swartzlander was transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
