In a town like Imboden, the closing of a business due to fire is more than just employee losses. Our town economy is based on small locally owned businesses, for the most part.
The fire that damaged Love-A-Lots Daycare in Imboden last week took it’s toll on Imboden in many different ways. Not only are the owners and workers not working, but 16 children have been displaced due to the fire according to Patsy Mitchell, Owner of Love-A-Lots Daycare. Patsy also adds that the important thing is that no children were hurt due to the fire which she stated was an electrical fire.
Patsy on went to say, she’d like to extend thanks to the Imboden and Ravenden Volunteer Fire Departments, AET Ambulance Of Imboden, Tim McComas of the Ravenden PD and neighbors around the daycare.
No official word from Patsy Mitchell on when or if the daycare will rebuild, or future plans for Love-A-Lots.
