On January 13th the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department and the Third Judicial Drug Task Force arrested Joseph Jean Cossey of Williford for delivery of a controlled substance (Meth) with the assistance of the Sharp County Sheriff’s Department.
The arrest came after an informant purchased meth from Cossey in in Ravenden. Information from that incident was used to obtain a warrant for Cossey. Cossey was placed under arrest and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing. Bond was set at $15,000.00 and a Circuit Court date of January 19th was issued.
