Students at Sloan-Hendrix honored local firemen from the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department with an invitation to have lunch on Wednesday,October 6th in the Sloan-Hendrix cafeteria. The firemen sat with the children and enjoyed a bowl of chili while they answered questions from the students about what it’s like to be a firefighter.
It was a great way to celebrate National Fire Safety Week and a chance to thank our local firefighters for everything they do for our community.
