July 27th the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office make an arrest in a 2008 case. Levi Lamb was locked up on charges of Parole Absconding and Theft By Deception.

According to Captian Jody Dotson of the LCSO Lamb had absconded from parole back in 2008 after he was questioned by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies about taking money from a woman in Black rock and a woman in Smithville for putting new roofs on residences and then never doing the work.

When Lamb fled Lawrence County warrants were issued for the parole absconding and for the theft by deception. Lamb was featured on KAIT-8 on Crime Stoppers and several leads came in about Lamb being out of state but he was not located.

Lamb was arrested in Jackson Tenn. on a charge of public intoxication and warrants were discoved when he was booked into jail. The Arkansas Parole was contacted and they picked Lamb up and brought him back to Lawrence County. Once in the Lawrence County Jail both warrants were served on him and a bond hearing was set for the 28th. A $25,000.00 bail was set and a Circuit Court date of August 25th was given.
