Wednesday the American Red Cross set up at the Imboden Volunteer Fire Station located on Hwy 115 with hopes of reaching a goal of 25 units of donated blood.

Just after 4:30 the Red Cross was well on their way of reaching the goal with 15 units collected as several others arriving to give the gift of life.

Refreshments were on hand including some homemade ice cream and fried pies.

The American Red Cross and the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department wish to thank all those who donated blood and provided refreshments for this very good cause.
