On June 20th the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department arrested Louie Willfond of Black Rock for possession of a controlled substance (meth).
The arrest came after a deputy stopped the vehicle Willfond was driving for a traffic violation on Hwy. 117 near Black Rock. While speaking with Willfond the deputy noticed hime trying to conceal a medicine bottle. The deputy asked Willfond about the bottle and when Willfond gave the deputy the bottle it contained about a half gram of meth.
Willfond was placed under arrest and transported to the Lawrence County Jail. Bond was set at $5,000.00 and a Circuit Court date of June 30 was issued on Monday.
