Pig-N-Out BBQ has a newly black topped parking lot this week as does Murphy Dental Care of Imboden. They both look great!

Lindsey Needham, a senior at Sloan-Hendrix High School in Imboden was awarded the Academic Distinction Scholarship to attend Black River Technical College in the fall of this year. Lindsey plans to pursue a career in Nursing. She is the daughter of Adam and Jackie Needham.

The Junior/Senior Banquet and Prom for Sloan-Hendrix High School students is this Friday, April 16 2010.

On Friday, April 9, the Sloan-Hendrix Sr. High Quiz Bowl team traveled to Hope, Arkansas to compete in the State Quiz Bowl Tournament. The tournament was held on the campus of the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope on Saturday. The team played
a total of four games before being eliminated from the tournament.

The Imboden United Methodist Church now has beautiful new crimson colored carpeting laid throughout the Church. Church members have been hard at work for the past few weeks, moving furniture, polishing the pews, and vacuuming. The four classrooms in the upstairs of the Church are being painted as well. The Imboden United Methodist Church was built in the 1920’s and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Located on Main Street in Imboden, Pastor Bob McMillon welcomes everyone to their Sunday Worship service beginning at 9:30 am.
