Just 6 minutes after clearing the scene of a two vehicle wreck on Hwy.63 Imboden Fire Department’s 1997 Ford Rescue truck lost power returning to the fire station. The truck then burst into flames in the engine compartment as it came to a stop on the south bound lane of Hwy. 63. Imboden Firemen quickly put the fire out which was contained to the engine compartment causing extensive damage to the motor and wiring of the truck. Firemen who had just left the accident scene returned to assist Dail’s Wrecker in towing the truck back to the station. There were no injuries in the fire. The Imboden Volunteer Fire Department would like to extend a “Thank You” to Jack Dail of Dail’s Wrecker Service of Ravenden for his services, “We appreciate you”.
