At 6:33am on Friday, Walnut Ridge Police, Walnut Ridge Fire and MedicOne Ambulance were dispatched to an address on Lawrence 414 after the Lawrence County Dispatch received a report of an accidental gunshot wound.
WRPD investigated the incident, the subject was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.
No names were released.
