The Portia Picnic is considering bringing back the tradition of Public Speeches during this year’s Portia Picnic.
Public speaking has been a part of the Portia Picnic that dates back to 1905. Crowds of up to 10,000 listeners have been reported in years gone by, the organizers would like to see that come back!
Whether you are a current elected official or an aspiring candidate, this is a great opportunity to reach your constituents.
The organizers of the Portia Picnic propose to have the speeches on Saturday May 23rd at 9am during this years picnic.
Past speakers have included future Presidents, Governors, State Representatives, County Judges, Sheriffs, Justice Of The Peace along with many aspiring candidates.
