On Tuesday May 5th, 2026, at approximately 1:08 P.M. the Sheriff’s Dept. went to 122 County Road 159 in Corning to conduct a probation search.
When deputies came into contact with 41yr. old Coy D. Townsend, they advised him of the reason for their presence.
When deputies entered the camping trailer, they came in contact with 28yr old Michelle L. Turner of Walnut Ridge. Deputies learned that the female had been staying at the camper.
The deputies conducted a search of the trailer and found numerous drug related items. Both subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Clay County Detention Center.
They were booked in on the following charges: Possession of Meth or Cocaine with Intent to Deliver GT 2gm but LT 10gm, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of SCH III With Purpose to Deliver, and Possession of SCH I or II GT 2gm but LT 10gm.
