Batesville authorities report an elderly woman has died from injuries sustained after she crashed her vehicle into the garden center of the Batesville Walmart last week.
Batesville Police Department say the crash happened around 1:19 p.m. Oct. 3rd.
Investigators said the woman was driving near the store when she hit a curb and swerved to avoid a parked vehicle. authorities say she accidentally pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake, causing her vehicle to crash into the garden center.
Authorities say the woman died from injuries sustained in the accident, her name was not been released, the investigation remains ongoing.
