Walnut Ridge Police and Fire Department Along With Sheriff Dotson And Mounted Patrol Visit Head-Start

 
This week, members of the Walnut Ridge Police Department, Walnut Ridge Fire Department and the Lawrence County Mounted Patrol visited the Walnut Ridge Head-Start.
 
Children were shown patrol cars, fire trucks and spoke with the mounted patrol about the horses. Firefighters and Police Officers explained to the children their jobs and how the departments they represent are involved in the community.
 
Sheriff Dotson dropped off stickers and “goodies” at the Head-Start for all the children and had the Mounted Patrol bring their horses to the back playground to allow the children to pet them and ask questions.
