A Bench Warrant was issued on March 2nd 2026 for Polly Annabelle Elizabeth Simmons after an investigation was conducted by the Walnut Ridge Police Department.
Simmons is charged with Domestic Battery 2nd Degree and is currently incarcerated in the Lawrence County Detention Center.
According to court documents, Simmons called 911 on January 5th reporting her 2 month old male child came home from the babysitters with blood on his nose and two black eyes according to investigator’s statements.
The child was first transported to St. Bernard’s Medical Center before being transferred to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock due to the severity of his injuries.
Investigators say that ACH staff reported the child had signs consistent with physical abuse and referred to it as “shaken baby syndrome.”
