Jason Kelley, age 40 of Pocahontas was arrested by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office on a White Warrant on Monday.
According to the ACIC Sex Offender Registry, Jason Kelley is a convicted Level 3 Sex Offender who is “High Risk To Reoffend “
Kelley was arrested and twice charged with “Failure To Register” a condition of his parole.
Kelley is currently incarcerated in the Randolph County Detention Center.
A “white warrant” is a specific type of arrest warrant, primarily used in the United States, for the arrest of an individual who has violated the terms of their probation or parole. The warrant authorizes law enforcement to apprehend the person, often without the possibility of bail, and bring them before the court to face consequences for violating their conditional release.
